A fine retro-reflective filament is plied through the yarn. It stays a quiet matte until direct light hits it — then it lights up bright, bouncing the beam straight back.

Photochromic pigment reacts to UV. Your make looks soft and pale inside, then blooms into vivid colour the moment sunlight touches it — and fades back in the shade.

Thermochromic fibre holds one colour below 10°C and flips to a second above 40°C. Warm water, body heat or a sunny windowsill reveals the change — then it drifts back as it cools.
