Excellent Reflective Embroidery Thread for Stylish & Safe Creations-200M(51 colors)

These reflective embroidery threads would be very useful in adding details to the arms (or front or back) of something you will be wearing out at dusk, so that you are more visible to cars. The threads are colorful even with the stripe of reflective thread, and they could be used in regular embroidery as well. In my photo, I show a needlepoint project with three strands of regular dark blue needlepoint floss in one area, and two strands of this reflective blue embroidery thread next to it. If you like the look of heathered cotton, you will probably like this thread. I especially like that can be used for a particular purpose (a reflective design) but also it can be used with regular projects as well. I only used it for hand stitching, not for machine embroidery. This set would be a good gift for any one who likes textile arts.

This is a strong thread with a reflective silver strand.
It will work nicely for embroidery patches where you want some reflexion or for simple straight or zigzag seams on items where a little reflexion would be nice, such as jogging, biking, hunting or camping clothing or bags.

There are enough colors to choose from that it will suit many purposes.

Love this stuff. It's truly reflective! The colo s are sort of heathered- grayish in daylight, and true to product pictures. I mostly do hand embroidery -- the thread us a bit more challenging than cotton thread or embroidery floss, but not impossible. It tended to develop twists and broke more easily than cotton sewing thread (no surprise there) but was comparable to embroidery floss ITO strength. It's just a matter of learning the quirks of a new material. Highly recommend if you want to use your creativity to add reflective touches to your clothes.

The threads are thicker than regular embroidery thread that comes in a skein. They have a wax coating so it doesn’t have a shine like normal embroidery thread and the colors are not vibrant and bright. It is great for machine embroidery and for outlining a design.
It’s not great for small, detailed embroidery and hand embroidery is a bit more difficult because the thread doesn’t lay evenly like traditional embroidery thread (but that is not how these threads are intended to be used but just an observation).

Other brands are a lot more expensive than this. It is highly reflective and stitched well. Great for uniforms or anything that you'd like to make flashy.
