blingblingyarn began with a simple wish — that the things we make by hand could do a little more. Glow on the night walk home. Hold the scent of a quiet afternoon. Shift color with a touch.

It started with a glow-in-the-dark scarf.

Our founder knit a glowing scarf for her daughter who was scared of the dark. The smiles it caused — at bedtime, on the school run — felt like proof that craft could carry a little wonder.

So we set out to make special-effect yarns that were actually nice to work with: soft, skin-safe, and beautiful in daylight too. No scratchy novelty yarn. Just quiet magic.

Bright Glowing Yarn

I recently got some of the glow in the dark yarn, these things are VERY glowy!!! It even glows in the daytime thats how powerful they are! I left them out in the sun and left to go to work. I texted my brother to brung them back inside and he said they looked "radioactive" lol!!
