Glow in the dark metallic yarn premium quality

This yarn is amazing for crafting all sorts of cute little items! I made glowing stars, tiny flowers, mini purses, and even a doll dress that lights up in the dark. The yarn is soft, easy to use, and the glow effect adds so much character to everything I make. These pieces are adorable during the day and truly magical at night. It’s a must-have for creative projects!

Love the bright color of this yarn. It does glow but I have yet to use it to see how long the glow would last. Once I use it I will come back and update with a photo.

My kids have had a lot of fun playing with this yarn. It isn’t the strongest glow that I’ve seen but that doesn’t stop the play in our house - making lassos and running around with the lights off! We have typically used this for art projects with the kids and it’s always a hit. I’d definitely recommend it if you are looking for something fun for kids to play with, but I can’t speak to the quality if you are looking to knit anything with it.

This yarn is soft and easy to work with. The skeins are quite small, but the glow effect makes it worth it! It glows very well after just a minute or so under a UV light and even looks very nice during the day. And being that it's white yarn, it will pair well with any number of colors - I'm using mine with a nice forest green/black variegated sock yarn to make a nice striped scarf.

These Glow-in-the-Dark yard skeins are really small. As shown in the above photo. They do glow really good. Needs to be changed under a light for about 15 minutes. Colors Compliment each other perfectly.

I've been working on amigurumi little monsters, and I'd already made a little glow in the dark zombie, radioactive green style, and it looked great. I figured, if I was going to make something like a glowing phoenix style one.... well this set of colours would be great. And it is.

The reds/oranges etc all work well with that colour palette, and there's a little bit of a sparkle/metallic gleam strung through the yarn. It isn't quite as soft as some of my homespun, but for raw appearance, it's perfect. The skeins are small, but all the glowing skeins tend to be, and it does state as much in the description, so it doesn't bother me. It's not the cheapest, as one would expect, but the glow is really strong, and I think it's worth it to get that strong visual advantage.

It's some pretty okay yarn but it can feel pretty stiff to work with; I wouldn't exactly call it soft and it feels a bit scratchy to me, and it also has a tendency to split when I crochet with it (this is primarily why my rating is why it is - I just don't find it that pleasant to work with). The glow in the dark effect is nice, but you do have to really let some good light hit it for a long time for it to show well. The skeins are all kind of small individually, and you can do some smaller projects with the amount you get in this set. I don't know if I'd call this a good value for what you get, but it's a fun novelty and you can really stretch out the yarn if you use it for accents in larger projects.

This yarn glows pretty much like star stickers. At first, it’s quite bright, then it slowly fades and glows for hours at a lower level. My picture doesn't really do it justice and it's brighter in person. It’s nice that the product description includes the recommended size for a crochet hook, as well as some project estimates. A small project or two can be done with the set, but I think we’ll use it as an accent to extend the fun. It’s soft and will feel nice to wear too. The care instructions actually say not to use detergent, so I just hand-washed with soap and it turned out fine. No reduction in glow or anything.

My wife loves the texture of this yarn and enjoys making little critters out of these small skeins. Their special feature is that they glow in the dark after being exposed to bright light for just a little while. OR expose them to Ultraviolet light for just a short time and they glow for hours.
These skeins are a great Christmas present for my granddaughter who is trying to learn to crochet with the help of my wife's experience.

This yarn is soft and abundant, perfect for crafting. It's easy to appreciate how much of it comes in the pack, as well. The bright pink color and the novelty of this item is perfect to pair with other less jazzy yarns for an unique creation. The only downside is that it takes a great deal of light to glow in the dark. It is not like other glow-in-the-dark items where you simply hold it to light for 2 minutes to get 30 seconds of glow. It takes much longer than that. With that said, plan to use this yarn for a scarf, beanie, or car blanket that can get plenty of sunshine light to create the glow that makes it special.

The size of the roll is much smaller than expected and is a thin type of yarn. I do like the grow in the dark yarn feature. Due to the small quantity, I don't know what project I will use this yarn on.

I am an intermediate loom knitter. I'm always on the look out for different, and interesting types yarn. When I saw this I thought it fit what I was looking for.

The yarn is sparkly which I wasn't expecting, and I thought it was awesome. I also love the different colors. The skeins are small, and they are around $6. There is a popular yarn brand that has the same amount of yarn for $3 more. The price may be a little alarming, but when you break it down the price is decent. The yarn is very thin. I got other glow in the dark yarn by this exact brand, and it was a little bit thicker. With all that being said,my poop bag holder still came out very nice.

The yarn sleeve doesn't state what worsted weight it is, what yarn needles to use, or crochet hooks to use. It does have care instructions, and how to make it glow on the yarn sleeve which I thought was handy.

The yarn on the loom was very easy to work with, I'm not quite sure how it would be on needles or a hook. It glows so bright.

Overall it isn't that bad, but not that greatest

This is nice quality yarn. It's very thin, but you can work with it. It will glow in the dark for a short time, but will need to be exposed to strong light often. It's a little expensive, in my opinion- so it loses a star on value. But it's a good item to purchase for a specific project- probably won't keep it as regular stock.

This yarn glows really bright when “charged” under UV light and it actually lasts for several hours. I love the fact that this yarn includes quite a bit of glitter in it as well, it’s very sparkly and eye-catching even in normal light. Glow-in-the-Dark yarns have a tendency to be really stiff and can be hard to work with just by the nature of the product and this one is no different. Its decent quality yarn but it definitely can be a bit finnicky to work with until you get used to it. Not only is it quite stiff but it also splits extremely easily. Otherwise, this is a really nice set of reds, oranges, and pinks. Works as intended and looks great. The stiffness issue can be mitigated a bit by washing the finished product and letting it soak in some fabric softener.

So for the price point, I was expecting regular sized skeins like 3.5oz or something way more than what I got. It’s a lightweight yarn, it glows nicely but I need at least another two sets to complete my project which is at a standstill now. It’s good for smaller scaled projects that don’t need much yarn.
